A determined little girl walks into a high-society gala and publicly calls a powerful man her father, upending his carefully ordered world. As the truth behind her claim comes to light, he must decide what family really means.
The child may have been coached by the mother. We found the fool's original hard drive was taken. The system backed it up to the cloud. We request permission to play it. This is illegal! Sit down.
Until the formal investigation is complete, the child will remain with her mother, Ava Parker. Dennis White is ordered to stay away from the child and Parker Pastry. A follow-up hearing will be scheduled. Mr. White, why did you edit the video? Why did you drag the child?
This isn't over. Let her sleep first, Ava. Your hand needs a new bandage. Mommy, don't go. I'll be downstairs.
Set up a guest room. Forget the guest room. Put her next to Mason. No, I'll sleep on the couch.
You're tired. I've slept in worse places. It may leave a scar. As long as I can still use it.
Dennis contacted the press. He's selling this as a billionaire family stealing a child. He's also preparing to sue over the bakery. I need to go back to the shop.
No. That was my mother's shop. It's not safe. You don't get to decide that for me.
Dennis will come back. Then I'll be there waiting. You want Ellie to hide again? Heal first.
I'll handle the shop for now. Is that what you always do? Decide for everyone? I'm not everyone.
You're the man who didn't believe me six years ago. Yes. So you don't have to trust me. But use me.
My lawyers, my house, my name. Keep Ellie safe first. I don't want to owe you. You don't owe me.
I owe you. Mommy's gone! I'm here. I dreamed the door was locked again.
Let Ava stay with her tonight.
